Provenance classes
Every published figure carries one of three labels. Observed means recorded directly from the cited source, unadjusted. Modelled means derived arithmetically from observed inputs using a formula published on this page. Baseline seed means a documented starting estimate awaiting its first observation.
Append-only observations
An observation row is never edited or deleted. Each is stamped with the date it describes and the source it came from, so a series can only lengthen. Where a figure was wrong, a correction is logged and a new row supersedes it — the original stays visible.
Page gate
A market page exists only when real rows back it. Where a topic and a market have no data, no page is generated and nothing is submitted to search engines. Thin pages are a cost to readers, not an asset.
Review cadence
Escrowlor Data Desk reviews every series on a fixed calendar, records the date of each review, and signs off on each revision below.

- Baseline seed — A documented starting estimate awaiting first observation. Treat as an order-of-magnitude figure only.
